Always a joy for peatlovers! That is the phrase that springs to mind when a new batch of Kilkerran's Heavily Peated arrives at our door! Here we have the sixth batch of this tremendous Campbeltown whisky, matured in a selection of bourbon and sherry casks, and boasting hefty helpings of peat smoke throughout.

Tasting Notes:

Nose :Sweet and sooty peat smoke, reminiscent of toasting marshmallows on a beach campfire. Combined with the maritime influence of Campbeltown with notes of fishing creels and salt.

Palate:  Sweet peat smoke with notes of honeycomb, gingerbread and mint. A fruity element develops over time in hints of pineapple and banana.

Finish :A peppery finish with notes of allspice, the peat smoke endures to the conclusion of this dram.
