A brilliant dark rum for mixing, produced in Bermuda since 1806. The name comes from the black wax originally used to seal the bottles.
Produced using molasses distillate from both pot stills (typically a heavier style) and column stills (typically lighter), this is a rum of superb balance.
Tasting Notes :
Appearance : dark amber with red reflections
Nose: Sweet, dark, cooked fruits. Fruitcake, spice, herbal.
Palate: Balanced with thick, sweet spices, stewed fruits.
Finish: Spiced, crisp, tingling.
