Brockmans Agave Cut is not a traditional gin in the strictest sense — it’s a hybrid spirit created by combining the smooth botanical profile of Brockmans Gin with a premium Mexican agave spirit (from blue agave grown in Jalisco), giving it a unique character beyond classic gin.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Clear — typical of spirits without barrel aging, maintaining a pristine visual profile in the glass.
Nose: Crisp pink grapefruit zest — citrus and tangy freshness. Verdant agave notes — subtle green earthiness. Traditional gin botanicals — mild juniper, citrus peel, and gentle herbal notes. Some herbaceous hints like elderflower, lime leaf, and light spice may also be noticeable.
Palate: Clean and vibrant entry with citrus and grapefruit brightness. Juniper and herbal elements underpin the profile but remain well integrated. Agave spirit influence adds a soft green, slightly earthy character (not strong mezcal notes, but clearly present). Balanced complexity — sweetness from grapefruit and agave, freshness from citrus peel, and subtle spice from botanicals like coriander and cassia bark.
Finish: Medium to long, continuing the citrus and herbal interplay. Juniper warmth, light bitterness and a lingering touch of agave character.
