The origin of the Remedy Spiced Rum in the American Prohibition. During the alcohol ban in the US, this spiced rum was made as medicine in pharmacies.
Remedy Spiced Rum is a blend of several molasses distillates. These come from the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. Each rum matured for some time in wooden barrels before being mixed with the others. Finally Remedy is enriched with some spices - hence the name Spiced Rum.
Nose: The fragrance of Remedy Spiced Rum is a seductive conglomeration of spicy and sweet aromas. It's not applied too thickly, and you can let every single trace work its magic on you before you go for a full tasting.
Palate: On the palate, Remedy Spiced Rum offers warm taste nuances. The sweet as well as the spicy touches from the nose are taken up here. Herb-fruity orange peels meet soft vanilla and spicy cinnamon as well as a hint of pepper.
