The origin of the Remedy Spiced Rum in the American Prohibition. During the alcohol ban in the US, this spiced rum was made as medicine in pharmacies.

Remedy Spiced Rum is a blend of several molasses distillates. These come from the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. Each rum matured for some time in wooden barrels before being mixed with the others. Finally Remedy is enriched with some spices - hence the name Spiced Rum.
