The sugar cane for the molasses of The Demon's Share rum spirit is mined on the nutrient-rich volcanic soils in the middle of Panama and distilled in traditional column stills. It is then matured in toasted American white oak barrels for 6 years.
The name is derived from the 'Angel's Share' which refers to the proportion of whisky that evaporates from the cask in the course of its ageing, used in the whisky industry, and which the founder quickly renamed 'Demons Share'.
