Produced by Hibernia Distillers, this premium expression is a "Heritage Cask" blend composed of 75% single grain whiskey (matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon flame-charred casks) and 25% single malt Irish whiskey (matured in toasted ex-Oloroso Sherry casks). These components are expertly blended and then finished for an additional five to six months in craft stout casks from a renowned Irish brewery. This unique finishing process imparts a magnificent, creamy depth that bridges the gap between traditional Irish whiskey flavors and rich craft beer characteristics.
