Founded in 1832 by the Galbraith family, Glen Scotia Distillery is one of three remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region of Scotland. The distillery is said to be haunted by the ghost of Duncan McCallum, one of its former owners. Glen Scotia produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whiskey and is enjoying growing popularity among connoisseurs.

Glen Scotia 10 Years Unpeated matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Malt sugar and citrus, mild sweetness with dry nuttiness and herbs, roasted aromas.

Palate:  Tart-sweet with notes of citrus and orange marmalade, brown sugar and some spice.

Finish: soft and gentle spice.
