Knappogue Castle 12 Years Old Pichon Baron Cask is a limited-edition single malt Irish whiskey part of the brand's Cask Finish Series. Initially matured for twelve years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, this expression undergoes a final maturation period in French oak casks previously used for wine from Bordeaux's prestigious Château Pichon Baron.

Tasting Notes:

The nose opens with aromas of green apple peel, ripe apricot, and banana bread, sweetened by hints of marshmallow, vanilla, and polished oak. On the palate, it offers a syrupy texture with notes of peaches and cream, red berries, citrus, and toasted nuts, complemented by well-integrated baking spices such as ginger and nutmeg. The finish is medium to long, leaving lingering traces of dark fruit, toasted cereals, and gentle oak.
