The first Single Malt Irish Whiskey distilled in Ireland’s western province of Connacht in over 107 years. 

Every precious drop is distilled by Brian Taft & hand bottled at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney.

Tasting Notes :

Nose : Apple chips and pear drops, with a layer of runny caramel, and a whiff of sandalwood.

Palate : Honeycomb, candied ginger, waxy citrus peels, mocha, caramelised peanuts.

Finish: Cassia, flapjacks, and chocolate-chip cookies.

The Silver Seal 14 Years of Muirheads takes gourmets on a culinary journey deeply rooted in Scotland's history and tradition. Inspired by the exploits and tales of the Muirhead clan, this whisky develops a profile as robust and proud as its namesakes.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance: Brilliant yellow-gold colour with orange highlights.

Nose : Rich vanilla and wood aromas open up to delicate notes of fresh fruit.

Palate : Velvety caramel combines with subtle toasted oak and a hint of tropical fruit.

Finish: A mellow, lingering sweet finish.

Notes de dégustation: 

Œil : jaune vif avec des reflets verts

Nez : concentré, présentant des arômes de fruits jaunes (pêche et abricot)

Bouche : doux, agréable, équilibré, structuré et dense. Finale subtile, légèrement épicée et minérale.

Le domaine: Installé sur un site gallo-romain en bordure de l’ancienne Voie Romaine, Le Domaine Saint Gayan jouit d’une situation privilègiée. Sur l’emplacement actuel du Domaine, une villa romaine était installée. Nous pouvons remonter l’histoire de notre famille jusqu’au XVème siècle, mais la grande date que nous retiendrons est le 31 Mai 1709 où Pierre GOUBERT, notre ancêtre direct, alors Lieutenant de Justice de Gigondas fit l’acquisition du Domaine qui est le nôtre aujourd’hui. A la fin du XIXème siècle, l'unique héritière Léa GOUBERT épousera Albert MEFFRE dont nous portons le nom à présent. A partir de 1956, le vin étant devenu la seule activité du Domaine, Roger Meffre commence à développer la vente de vin en bouteilles. En 1980, Jean Pierre, son fils, le rejoint avec son épouse, Martine qui passent actuellement la main à la génération suivante, leur fille aînée Julie et leur gendre Christian-Yves Carré de Lusançay.

 Cette cuvée fera merveille sur des plats truffés (truffes noire et blanche) et poissons en sauce.
