Œil : Rouge rubis profond

Nez : Nez de fruits rouges laissant place à des arômes plus complexe de viande, de cuir de sous-bois.

Bouche : Belle persistance, rond, velouté et généreux en bouche sans excès d’alcool. Tanins fins.

Le domaine: Bande de terre située entre l'Océan Atlantique et l'estuaire de la Gironde, le Médoc bénéficie d'avantages climatiques liés à sa situation de presqu'île, entre ces deux importantes masses d'eau qui jouent un rôle de régulation thermique. 

Le Clos de May est une petite propriété, appartenant à la famille Tessandier, de près de 2 hectares, situé sur la commune de Macau, proche de Margaux, sur une croupe de graves garonnaises sur sous-sols argileux.

A BESPOKE CRAFT GIN : a subtle blend of citrus fruit and myriad botanicals, our hand-made gin brings out the slight bitterness of sloes without altering their finesse or flavour.

FRESH SLOES: fresh, wild sloes, hand-picked in the forest. It’s out with the processed syrups and in with the traditional and the natural.

​EXTRA LONG MACERATION: a maceration process that is three to four times longer than usual, helping to bring out the essence of the fruit and the unmistakable almond scent of the stone.

LOW IN SUGAR: added with painstaking care to offset the fruit’s natural bitterness.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: honeycomb candy with butterscotch fudge, layers of candy floss, crème brûlée and molasses all drenched in a warm spiced bergamot orange liqueur.

Palate:  rich creamy toffee flavours infused with citrus fruits, brownie baked Alaska with hints of choc chip mint ice cream combine leaving a long lingering velevety finish
