This is a five year old rum from Guadeloupe. The rum is matured in ex-bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : pale amber

Nose: elegant power nose, well marked by vanilla, caramel and a woody light.

Palate: A beautiful hardy attack with roundness. Powerful aromas of vanilla and woody, identified by a hint of spices (cinnamon, black pepper) and notes of exotic fruit. 

Finish: rich, complex, woody aroma .

Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-year rum is produced using a combination of rums aged on average 15 years and distilled from molasses using the solera process.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : golden red and amber tones

Nose: Persistent woody tones, with rich notes of toasted dry fruits, buttery caramel, citrus and vanilla.

Palate: A smooth and complex texture, vanilla at the front, followed by oak, toffee, banana and cacao notes on the palate.

Finish: Cognac-like finish. A slight touch of fruitiness, an almost cherry-like flavor combined with faint woody notes.

Matusalem Clásico Solera 10 is produced with select rums aged in oak barrels, using the Solera process. It is a rum of very high quality with a distinctive flavor and exceptional smoothness.

Nose: A seductive bouquet brimming with the warm creamy aromas of vanilla, coconut, molasses and toffee.

Palate: There is an intriguing, fine bourbon-like quality to the taste of Clasico. It is a full-bodied rum and is jam-packed with toasty well balanced flavours that dance over the palate without a trace of excess heat.

Finish: A warm, creamy lingering and flavourful finish.
