Cihuatan Solera 8 rum is made with rums aged "up to" 8 years, which is an indication of the solera aging method. Herbal, Fruity & Candied.

A robust and masculine rum with great chewy tannins.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : mahogany

Nose: The nose offers beautiful, deep aromas of vanilla, toffee, oranges and fine spices (such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves) and some roasted coffee.

Palate: vanilla, a fine coffee, a hint of coconut and spice, subtle oak tones, hints of orange.

Finish: rather medium to short with spices, vanilla and some coffee

Dictador 20 Years Solera System Rum is made from the fermentation of virgin sugar cane honey, distilled partly in copper alembic and partly in steel continuous column, to achieve a medium body rum.

It’s then aged in pre-used oak barrels using the solera method and finally bottled under the highest quality control to ensure all the secrets are contained in the liquid flavour.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : intense dark amber

Nose: Big on the nose with soft caramel, vanilla, smoky honey, toffee, dry seeds, roasted coffee and a rich rounded oak

Palate: very soft and round, yet big and full flavoured, with caramel, vanilla, cocoa and roasted honey – a strong and rare texture

Finish: great finish, cinnamon and cedar wood.

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : old gold with glints of amber.

Nose: hints of spicy oak on the nose, with guava, a little desiccated coconut and dried banana. Buttery.

Palate: spiced, creamy palate entry, with sweet vanilla notes and caramel. Oaky spices.

Finish: caramel, toasted oak.
