A remarkably well balanced and tasty rum from the Indian Ocean

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : Amber

Nose: brown sugar, coffee and mocha, vanilla, cloves, nutmeg and a soft background of bananas

Palate: more vanilla,coffee, burnt sugar, nougat. Fried sweet,nuts, peaches.

Finish: spicy notes, pepper.

A long aged dark golden rum from Guatemala, Malteco is extremely rich and sweet on the nose, with raisins, vanilla and some prominent coconut among the flavours on the palate.

Appearance : dark brown

Nose: wonderful soft vanilla, caramel and cinnamon aromas

Palate: rich in exotic fruit, coconut, pineapple and plums, with a little brown sugar, coffee and dark chocolate.

Finish: long, with toffee, dark chocolate and tobacco smoke.

Alcohol by volume : 41,5%

This rum was made in Colombia and is Solera-aged rum aged for between 12 and 21 years in bourbon barrels. Pronounced 'etch-ee-seh-rah' , the name means 'enchantress' in Spanish. 

Wonderfully pure, but also on ice and for mixing.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : amber

Nose: Aromas of caramel and orange zest, spices, rich, marked by the cream of vanilla and dark chocolate.

Palate: Intense aromas of tobacco and roasted coffee, dark chocolate with spicy aspects. Bold burst of flavour on the palate with distinctive notes of tobacco and roasted coffee.

Finish: Sweet and smooth.
