This rum was made in Colombia and is Solera-aged rum aged for between 12 and 21 years in bourbon barrels. Pronounced 'etch-ee-seh-rah' , the name means 'enchantress' in Spanish. 

Wonderfully pure, but also on ice and for mixing.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : amber

Nose: Aromas of caramel and orange zest, spices, rich, marked by the cream of vanilla and dark chocolate.

Palate: Intense aromas of tobacco and roasted coffee, dark chocolate with spicy aspects. Bold burst of flavour on the palate with distinctive notes of tobacco and roasted coffee.

Finish: Sweet and smooth.

A six year old blend of rums from Barbados, Doorly's XO is finished in an Oloroso sherry cask, which adds a lovely character.

Nose: Complex flavour of caramelized fruit, brown sugar, oak barrel and sherry notes.

Palate: Very mellow and really complex, fine, light and tasty sweetness. Well balanced.

Finish: Warm and long lasting.

The rum is derived from sugar cane molasses. Carefully selected, it goes through the watchful process of fermentation, distillation and ageing, bringing together old and modern techniques, and uniting art, science and tradition.

Tasting Notes :

Appearance : warm amber

Nose: Easy and never aggressive nose. Candied oranges, bergamot tea, vanilla and a hint of cola nut are its main aromas.

Palate: mainly it tastes of chestnut and acacia honey, candied oranges and citrons and sultana raisins.

Finish: nuts, chocolate, desiccated plums and apricots
